I’m just a short girl trying to make her way through a tall order of all that is sweet in the world.

I cannot hide it from the world any longer.

I love cookies, desserts, cakes, pies, and anything ridiculously rich and loaded with sugar.

I scour, “favorite”, and Facebook creep other blogs, websites, and photo albums looking at desserts and treats all over the world, and even though I know it’d be unlikely that I ever get to 90% of these places, it comforts me knowing that someone in the world is.

I find an excuse to bake for any occasion possible, including events such as “happy tooth extraction day,” and “good on ya for getting the dog fixed.”

I WILL run that extra mile to eat that extra piece of cake.  And I hate running.

I justify to myself that I need to sample multiple cookies from each pan before gifting them to others.  I call it quality control.

My name is Lydz, and I’m a loves-anything-sweet-flaky-chocolatey-gooey-decadently-rich addict, and I am here to feed this addiction.  My dedication to you is to consistently share about my own baking hijinxes, and all things that I find oh so sweet in my own little world.
